There are days that start so gloomy that it takes a tremendous amount of effort to get on your feet and start the day. This can be as a result of recent failures, heartbreaks, financial in-capabilities and sometimes even fear.
I’ve had situations where fear crippled me so much that I didn’t want to face my future anymore. I wanted to crawl beneath my bed covers and stay there for as long as I could get away with.
On these days, a number of things get me through- God, faith and words from motivational speeches that have stuck in my brain speeches continue to motivate me months and weeks after hearing them.
For Monday Motivation today, I have compiled five of my favorites speeches – J.K. Rowling’s “The Fringe Benefits of Failure, and the Importance of Imagination”, Steve Jobs’s “How to Live Before You Die”, and Will Smith’s Speech from The Pursuit of Happiness among others – whose words continually resound in my memory and help when needed.
I hope you listen and I hope they inspire you even as they do me.
J.K. Rowling: “The Fringe Benefits of Failure, and the Importance of Imagination” (2008)
Denzel Washington: “Fall Forward” (2011)
Steve Jobs: “How to Live Before You Die” (2005)

Have a beautiful week!
