One thing that is common in Nigeria is entrepreneurship spirit. You find out that most people with 9-5 jobs also have a hustle. Speaking on entrepreneurship, did you know that some Nigerian celebrities have side hustle? If you didn’t, here are 5 Nigerian celebrities who are fashion entrepreneurs.

1. Genevieve Nnaji

The renowned actress and Lion Heart film producer is known for her multiple productions and projects. She released her signature collection St. Genevieve in 2014. This collection includes women’s wears for corporate affairs and casual outings. A collection “Philomena”  was named after the her grandmother.

2. Toke Makinwa

To celebrate her birthday in 2017, the Nigerian on-air personality announced the launch of her fashion brand Toke Makinwa Luxury. One of her collections includes her signature piece “TM Tote”. She named the collection of handbags  “Baby Girl for Life” after her mother.

3. Agbani Darego

Agbani Darego is the Ex-Miss World of 2001. Her modeling career expanded her interest in fashion. Therefore, she started her own clothing line AD, an acronym of her name. The fashion line includes denim wears, fashion clothing, handbags, accessories and footwear.

4. Omoni Oboli

The talented Nollywood filmmaker also has a fashion line. Her line includes trendy wears for women. It is called Omoni Oboli by AVE, and she runs it in partnership with high class Nigerian designer Ayo Van Elmar.

5. Mo’Cheddah

The Nigerian singer Mo’Cheddah owns a fashion clothing line called Mo’Cheddah Clothing. One thing about hers is that she gives her dresses Yoruba names. One of the collection is called Bolanle which she named after her mother.
