Beauty Needs Education 2018

In the 21st Century world of selfies, Instagram and Facebook, visuals reign absolutely supreme. It is therefore not surprising the craving for that ‘perfect glow’ has become increasingly insatiable. In Nigeria, statistics have shown that 77% of Women use skin-enhancing products; this is by far the largest percentage in the world.

As a result of this high demand for beauty-related products and services, the number of uncertified beauty therapists and cream formulators have also sky-rocketed in recent years. With beauty parlors springing up in every nook and cranny of our cities and beyond, the first question we need to answer as enlightened customers is “Are these therapists really qualified to treat us?” For those of us in the beauty industry, we must ask ourselves if we are adequately prepared to meet the needs of our clients and keep them both happy and healthy.

With a vision of eradicating questionable practices in the field of aesthetics, The Beauty Therapy Institute, Lagos is organizing “THE BEAUTY NEEDS EDUCATION” seminar for beauty professionals. The event is targeted at;

➢ Experienced practitioners looking to refresh their knowledge base,
➢ Growing professionals who have built a basic foundation and are hoping to improve their skills,
