When we talk about weight loss in Nigeria, I have noticed that they give us the ‘abroad’ recipes. What I am trying to say is that, most times the things they tell us to eat are not easily accessible in our country. If eventually you can find it, it would be very expensive. This post would tell you what to eat if you want to lose weight in Nigeria.
The typical Nigerian food is carbohydrates. We eat a lot of rice, yam, bread and all of that and then we complain that we are fat. I can’t entirely blame us because these dishes are what we grew up having.
I used to wonder how I would be if my mum forced me to eat some particular dishes when I was younger. Would I have liked them or not? The only thing I can remember is her not giving us sugar. If we mistakenly ate sugar during the day, ‘agbo’ is our calling at night. So I grew up not liking sugar.
I am currently on a weight loss journey right now and to be very honest I am tired of ‘carbohydrates’. The video below has given me options and I am willing to try them out. What about you?
