#WCW: Miss Nigeria 2017/2018 – Mildred Ehiguese

It is another Wednesday!!!! It is another #WCW. Today we will be appreciating Miss Nigeria 2017, Mildred Peace Ehiguese.

The question is who is Mildred Ehiguese?

Peace Mildred Ehiguese was born in the early 90’s at the Maiduguri University Teaching Hospital. She hails from Edo state, Nigeria and bears the tribal name Osaretin meaning God’s strength.

Mildred studied psychology in Redeemers university in Ede, Osun state and graduated with a second class honours degree. She then went ahead to serve her country in the university college hospital, Ibadan where she served along side occupational therapists.

At the end of her youth service, Mildred was crowned “Miss Nigeria” and has then carried out campaign against human trafficking with NAPTIP, a malaria awareness with YEDI, and environmental sustainability through “the green girl project”.

Mildred is passionate about children living with mental illnesses and sickle cell and is an advocate against child molestation.

Before she became Miss Nigeria, she had acquired skills such as bead stringing, hair making, make up and art. She is a multi talented woman with talents such as singing, drawing, painting and I would personally add caring for people.

The first time I heard about her, I said to myself “she must be a proud person” but after meeting her, I discovered that she is very humble. She is beautiful both on the inside and out. Below are a few pictures of Mildred.
