Sunday Brunch: Stir-Fried Beef With Vegetables & Rice

Sunday Brunch: Stir-Fried Beef With Vegetables & Rice

It’s really not difficult to predict that most families would have rice for brunch today being Sunday. There are different ways to make your rice (jollof /white) attractive for consumption. You can choose to garnish it with sala (which is quite cliché), cucumber, carrot or green vegetables but it’s more attractive when you do a combination of both.

Plain rice or jollof rice doesn’t have to be so boring but a combo of stir-fried beef with vegetables and rice wouldn’t be a bad idea totally.

What you would need:

  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
  • Black pepper
  • salt
  • Flour
  • Extra virgin oil
  • Beef fillets
  • green peppers
  • onions

This might be a little unusual for your Sunday meals but it’s totally worth it and besides trying out a new way to eat your food isn’t such a bad idea! With the beef fillets and green pepper already in stock, I’m sure it would taste great!
