Hi dolls, excited about the coming long weekend? I totally am. Straight to the post, it’s another Ankara two piece and I have been exploring more than skirts with my two-piece.
I have had this outfit since last year but only wore the shorts alone once. I recently found the jacket and it was basically a last minute decision to pair them together for the first time. I did not really like the jacket because the designer did not quite get the style I wanted.
For this post, I decided to keep it simple with black lace camisole, black pair of sandals & burgundy bag. No I was not trying to match the bag with my hair, okay maybe I was. I got this wig recently because somehow, my go-to wig disappeared from my room and I needed a shoulder length wig.
Also, I have been silently (okay not so silent) loving colored hair and I went for the red shade which to be honest, felt too daring at first but when I tried it on at work, my colleagues kept “oohing & wowing” about it so I’m in love now.
I like that I can dress this outfit up or down as the case may be and I’m looking to try out a corporate look with it soon (I so love how versatile Ankara has been made now). Like I always say, the major advantage of two-piece outfits is being able to create at least five (5) looks out of the individual pieces, awesome!
I styled the shorts with a black top too the last time and went the sporty way with sneakers, oh yes, I am currently loving the athleisure trend these days and I finally styled sweatpants on my blog, check out the post HERE.
How will you wear this two-piece style? Are you a fan of wigs? Kindly drop your comments, let’s talk.
