Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o is the big 34 today and boy has she made her mark!
She was born on this day, 1983 in Mexico to Kenyan parents and raised in Kenya.
Studied at Hampshire College in the USA where she attained a bachelors degree in Film and Theatre studies.
She made her acting debut in 2008 and has gone on to be an incredible award winning actress.
Lupita is now being celebrated world over and is giving young black girls a little more confidence about the colour of their skin.
She doesn’t stray from her African roots and that means everything to me! So Lupi girlie- Happy Birthday!
