The versatility of a white shirt cannot be over emphasized for starters, but let’s get a universal truth in – Style isn’t something that can be bought.

Even as people get hung up on trends, it is about how the look comes together. Every fashionable individual constantly thinks up ways to style staples and more’s the need when dealing with a basic essential as a white shirt.

Why a white shirt?

Nobody needs a reason for ever owning this fashion essential because it goes from being a nothing-to-wear day savior and a safe piece (you can never go wrong with a white shirt) to being a desired gear especially if you find ‘the one’ shirt.

The kind of white shirt you own would depend on your style and how long you plan to own it for. I think a solid white shirt, with a high-end fabric and interesting weave pattern would give an elegant look and if properly maintained you sure can wear it for months on end.

What to pair it with?

Trends come and go, but the versatility of the classic white button-down is lasting. There’s a plethora of ways to inject a cool factor into a classic white wardrobe piece; it’s got the benefit of being a blank slate and can be dressed down or dressed up, weaving it into a variety of looks from day to night.
