The MTV Video Music Awards 2016 Nominations List is Out! + Beyoncé, Adele Reign

The nominations for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards are here and we are excited to bring you the list of nominees who stand to earn recognition for art’s beauty portrayed in their music videos.

Taking away eleven nominations across the various categories is none other than Beyoncé. Among them include Video of the Year for ‘Formation’ and the newest VMA category, Breakthrough Long Form Video, for her HBO special ‘Lemonade’. This is the most nominations she’s ever gotten in a single year.

Following is Adele with a total of eight nominations much of which are from her iconic “Hello” visual, including Video of the Year. Other contenders for the award are Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’, Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’, and Kanye West’s ‘Famous’.Video of the year nominees 2016 MTV Music Video Awards
