Woman Rising 2016, an initiative of The Life House curated by Ugoma Adegoke kicked off with a private Champagne Brunch on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Wheatbaker Ikoyi, Lagos and I was honoured to attend and network with some many other women contributing their quota to making Nigeria a better place.
The Champagne Brunch Mixer was hosted by award-winning thespian, Kemi Lala Akindoju and it hosted prominent women in the society from all walks of life to include Kate Henshaw, Iretiola Doyle, Aino Oni-Okpaku, Dolapo Marcy Oni, Oge Agu, Yagazie Emezi, Temi Dollface, Ruby Gyang, Wanawana, Habiba Balogun, Tewa Onasanya, Fade Ogunro, Felicia Obozuwa, Ngozi Edozien, Aisha Ummi Bello Tukur, Gbemi Shasore, Cecilia Umoren, Tosin Otudeko, Aminat Gbajabiamila, Tamara Osborn and so many more.
Guest speaker Yvonne Fasinro, gave a very inspiring and poignant message on Collaboration and this resonated so deeply.
