Mother’s Day Special: Apple and Sage Pork Chops with a Baby Arugula and Radish Salad
I’m sure you didn’t think for one minute that I was going to leave you without a Recipe for Mother’s Day. Far be it from me to commit such atrocity.
This recipe is simple and delicious! As a mother yourself, you can print out this recipe and slip it by Oga’s side of the bed, so he and the kids can make it for you, Mr C and the Sheik also got a print out, because I am not lifting a finger on Mother’s Day except to eat (Lol).
Back to the recipe, very easy and delicious Apple and Sage Pork Chops with a garden salad. I used Arugula (rocket Leaves) and radishes for my salad. You can use pretty much any salad greens you can find, romaine lettuce etc.

- Pork chops
- 1 Apple (green or red),thinly sliced
- Sage (fresh or dry)
- 2 tbs Butter
- Black pepper
- Pinch of Cinnamon
- 1 tbs Olive oil
- Baby Arugula leaves
- Radish, thinly sliced
1. In a heavy bottomed pan or skillet, add oil and let it heat up,
2. Season Pork Chop with salt, pepper and sage and add to the hot pan,cook for 4 mins on each side and set aside cover with foil to rest,
3.In another pan, put in butter and let it melt, add in apples, season with cinnamon,sage,salt and black pepper and sauté for 3 minutes
4. Assemble arugula and radish on a plate, put the pork chops and apples and Enjoy!
