The 67th Annual Primetime Emmys
The 67th Primetime Emmys took place on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
It was pretty great, most especially for HBO and blacks around the world, Game of thrones won 12 awards from its 24 nominations, the most any series has won in a single year.
Viola Davis also made black people proud by becoming the first African-American woman to win an Emmy for best lead actress on a drama. Other black women, Regina King and Uzo Aduba also won awards for outstanding lead actress in a drama series and outstanding lead actress in a drama series respectively.
There was a lot of black and pink on the red carpet, my fave black and pink has to go to Taraji P. Henson and Maisie Williams (arya) respectively.
