I like to think that the perfect Thursday work look should be a dress, hence we like to call it the “Dress Day”. It’s not Friday so the everyday style round-up is still on…well not for long!.

All offices do not all have the same rules, while some women have to respect a very strict dress code, other lucky kamdolls can do pretty much whatever they want. From casual to more formal, from adding pops of colour, to bits of bling, office dresses are just the perfect Thursday work staple.

Rules for Dress Day

One of the big problems of pulling this wardrobe piece off is managing to dress well without being uncomfortable or inappropriate. It’s all too easy to fall into a fashion rut at work. Here are some tips that can help

1. As much as you are trying to comply with the dress code in your place of work, put at least a bit your personal style into your outfit and stand out.

2. Nothing too sexy is allowed. By this we are referring to Bodycon dresses, low necklines etc. If you must pull a bodycon dress, then pair it with a blazer or jacket.

3. As always, accessorize the dress right: This includes your choice of accessories, bags, footie, and even your nail polish. For a very sophisticated dress look, ensure that your nail polish isn’t chipped or peeled.
